What we do

Community & Support:

You do not have to navigate the complex system of foster care alone! We have connections and resources to help you! Included, but not limited to: Trauma-Informed Parenting Classes, Help understanding the juvenile court system, continuing education classes, connection and community with others, regular family fellowship events, and more!

Resource Closets:

The CALL has 2 resource closets that families engaging foster care in NWA can access to obtain tangible items for the children in their care. Thanks to generous donations, these items are always free to foster care families. Some items you can find include diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, freezer meals, bedding, shoes, socks, underwear, beds, and more! We also take new and gently used donations for these closets.

Mental Health Supports:

The CALL in NWA helps to provide mental health services to families doing foster care. Regular support groups led by a therapist as well as free counseling sessions are available to foster and adoptive families.

Family Visitation Space:

The CALL in NWA has 2 physical locations to host family visitation spaces. These are homelike settings where families can cook meals, play on a playground, cuddle on a couch, play board game, paint a picture, watch a movie, and feel like a family. Without these spaces, families are forced to meet in a public place or use an office. These spaces are strengthening families, and we are humbled to be able to offer them.
