June was another month to celebrate what God is doing in Arkansas through the Church! June was National Reunification Month and we know that God is in the business of restoring families! He uses his people to help facilitate that restoration.
"Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony."

The second celebration was The CALL in Arkansas' 10 Year Anniversary! In 10 years, 44 counties have become local affiliates, 1500 families have opened their homes, 800 adoptions have taken place, and over 10,000 kids lives have been changed! That is truly something to celebrate and give God the praise! Our community is growing in it's awareness, compassion, and love everyday for hurting families.
"You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."

JUMPING JUNE MEETING
Thank you to Foothills Bible Church in Quitman for hosting our June support and informational meeting and providing childcare and dinner for us. Thank you to Craig Gammon with Methodist Family Homes for coming to speak to us about integrating the teaching family model. We had a great meeting and can't wait for next month!!
PRIDE training is being held in July for foster and adoptive parents that are currently in the certification process. This month we have 6 families from Cleburne County and 12 families total who are signed up to attend!! We will also be holding a CPR certification class this month for current and in-process foster and adoptive families.
WE LOVE ADOPTION DAY!!
This month, we got to celebrate not one but two families in Cleburne County as they adopted precious children into their families! We are so excited that these sweet little ones have joined their forever families!! Congratulations to the Riggs and the Wilkins families!

Did you know we have a freezer available at the CALL house to store meals for our foster families? These meals come in handy when families receive new placements or have just had an overwhelming day. Cooking dinner is one less thing they have to worry about.
Does your church have a cooking ministry, small group, or Sundayschool that would be be willing to make ahead meals to donate to our families? Or do you have a gift for cooking? This is just another way to volunteer for the CALL.

We know how much time goes into organizing and hosting an event like this!! Thank you to those who entered their cars and those who came out to join the fun!! It was a beautiful day for a car show! If you didn't make it to the 1st Annual Connection Church Car Show Benefit, you definitely missed out!! We are so thankful to have such an awesome community who supports local foster care!
The Airport Roll, Run, and Fun Fest located at the Heber Springs Airport took place in June. THE CALL CELEBRATES 10 YEARS!!
The CALL celebrated their 10th Anniversary of recruiting, training, and supporting foster and adoptive families in the state of Arkansas. It was a fun day for all of the families in attendance with fishing, inflatables for the kids, and much more. It was great to celebrate 10 years of seeing how God has moved through the churches in Arkansas to care for foster children! With so much brokenness in the lives of these families and with the system, it was good to focus on the positives of what we do. The assignment God has given each of us in this is VERY meaningful.
