Retreat, Heart Gallery Tour, and Goats. Yes, goats.

Foster and adoptive parents racing in canoes, goats dressed in lingerie and on parade... Fall is a busy time with The CALL and we would love to have you and your church join in the fun!  Below are some upcoming events and opportunities.  If you, your church or business would like to be involved with any of these events you may contact us at SalinePerry@thecallinarkansas.org:

September PRIDE Training:  The CALL will host the required training for incoming foster and adoptive families.  If you are interested in attending a training, please start by attending an information meeting (details below)!  We always welcome snacks and meals for the trainees by church groups or businesses!

September 18, Saline County Information Meeting for Volunteering, Fostering, Adopting: Interested in volunteering, fostering, or adopting?  Join us at 6:30 pm, New Life Church, 4200 Hwy 5, Bryant.

Sept. 22-23, Foster & Adoptive Parent Retreat for Saline & Perry County:  our parents will enjoy a relaxing weekend and also attend classes to learn more about parenting children through fostering or adopting.  Plus canoe races, bonfire with s'mores, and uninterrupted night of sleep!  Would your business or church like to sponsor a table and meet the parents?  Contact us for details.

October- Project Zero Heart Gallery Tour of Saline County:  A photo gallery of children available for adoption from foster care in Arkansas will be touring local churches and businesses in Saline County during the month of October.  Email us if you are interested in advocating for children available for adoption from foster care by hosting the gallery.

October 6, Arkansas Goat Festival:  Yes, Arkansas, we have a goat festival with everything goat- goat parade, goats in costume, goat yoga, goat milk products, AND..."Nannies at Night," goats-in-lingerie fashion show!  And The CALL will be there!

October 7, Perry County Information Meeting for Volunteering, Fostering, Adopting: Interested in volunteering, fostering, or adopting?  Join us at 2:00  pm, Perryville United Methodist Church, 123 Cross St, Perryville.  

Upcoming Opportunities:

• Introduce your church family to The CALL by hosting an Information Meeting in 2019
• Minister to kids in foster care and families by hosting a Kids' Night Out (and allow foster parents to have a date night!)
