Ways To Serve

While there are dozens of ways to share the love of Christ with children and teens in crisis in our community, below are a few examples.

Prayer Team:

One of the most important things you can do for children and teens in foster care is to pray. Our Prayer Team regularly prays for specific needs of children and teenagers in foster care, as well as caseworkers, foster parents, adoptive families, judges, biological families, and all of those who are part of their story.

Family Support Team:

Foster and adoptive families who open their homes to provide hope and healing to children and teenagers need a strong network of support. The Body of Christ is uniquely equipped to encourage and provide for these special families in a hands-on and tangible way.

Hospitality Team:

Planning gatherings for celebration, connection, or appreciation are a significant source of encouragement for foster and adoptive families as well as volunteers. Sharing your gift of hospitality, creativity, or organization will be a unique and immeasurable blessing to parents, children, teens, and individuals.

The CALL Mall Team:

Children and teens often come into foster care with few to no personal belongings. The CALL Mall carries diapers, coats, books, clothes, etc. so that they can get their basic needs met during a critical time in their lives. Sorting, organizing, and delivering items are simple, practical ways to serve local children and teens in foster care.

House Hosts:

House Hosts serve at the Support Center in Lonoke to help serve children and families in our community! They welcome visitors, sort and organize, assemble information folders, bake cookies, and much more! A variety of small tasks and projects is often available to choose from. Whether you have a couple of hours a month or a couple of hours a week, this role is a blessing to many!
