The CALL in Grant

Dr. Ashley Davis has her PhD in nursing and her heart for the fatherless was birthed during her time working at Arkansas Children’ Hospital as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse. Ashley considered it an honor to take care of medically fragile children in foster care while working as a nurse. She began feeling the Lord calling her family into deeper ministry within the foster care system while teaching Sunday School to several foster and adoptive children. Her husband, John, whose father was adopted after being abandoned as a newborn, has always shared her heart for caring for the fatherless. Ashley and John attended their first Informational Meeting for The CALL in 2012 and knew that God had plans for them to get involved in this ministry. After volunteering and donating in various ways for several years, her family opened their home to children in foster care in January of 2020. Ashley accepted the role of Grant County Coordinator in April of 2022.

 

Ashley and John have been married for over 15 years and enjoy worshiping and serving at Saline Missionary Baptist Church in Tull. They have 3 very active children and are expecting a 4th surprise baby in December of 2022. They enjoy being outdoors and watching their children play sports. They welcomed their 2 biological children in 2008 and 2012 and adopted their youngest daughter from foster care in 2021.
