The CALL in Craighead County considers it a blessing and privilege to help the body of Christ in our community understand how they can engage and make an eternal impact in the lives of children and teenagers in foster care!
Ginger McFadden is a mother of four adult children, a mother-in-law to three daughters-in-law, and G to five grandchildren. Her family has been shaped by both birth and adoption, experiences that have deeply influenced her heart for children and families.
Ginger was introduced to The CALL in 2008 while walking through the adoption of her youngest child through DCFS. Having experienced firsthand the impact of foster care and adoption, she is passionate about expanding The CALL in Craighead County and sharing its mission with others.
In her free time, Ginger enjoys walking, being outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren.
After growing up in a family that fostered & adopted, and then adopting our son out of foster care, I have seen the Foster Care system from multiple angles. I knew from an early age that my heart and passions would always lie in the most vulnerable among us and that bringing awareness and supporting those walking this journey was something I wanted to do. I had known about The CALL for many years when the organization began efforts to start up in my portion of the state and knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of it. My husband, Bradley, and I have three children, the youngest of which is adopted from Foster Care. We are members of The Rock of NEA Church and enjoy traveling with our kids and spending time with our very large extended family. My hope is to see more than enough foster families in Craighead County and to also see churches wrapping around those families, making their job a little easier.
