The CALL in Baxter & Fulton Counties

Foster / Adopt

The Call in Baxter County launched in November of 2012. We then partnered with Fulton County in July of 2023 to become The CALL in Baxter & Fulton Counties. We have grown our efforts to help support the local children in care as well as the foster/adoptive and biological families by adding support volunteers to our team and securing a fully functioning support center. Our support center provides a safe and welcoming environment for the biological families to have visits including a full kitchen and dining area. We host support groups and continuing education opportunities for our foster/adoptive families as well as provide resources through our CALL Mall like clothing/shoes, personal hygiene products, diapers, baby items.

There are so many ways to answer the call to foster care crisis beyond fostering and adopting children. We invite you to volunteer at our CALL Mall, donate freezer meals and gift cards, join our Volunteer Squad to help support our local families and help with events and fundraisers, or become a donor. You can also join our prayer team. Praying for the kids, DCFS staff, biological parents of the kids, and the foster or adoptive parents caring for them is an impactful way to support them.

The Lord is at work here and it is so exciting. We hope you will join us to become part of a growing group of advocates for the Baxter & Fulton County kids in foster care. This work is not for the faint of heart; it is challenging and stretching on many levels, but these kids are worth it. If we as believers don’t respond to the foster care crisis, who will? These precious kids are waiting to be loved, to feel special, and to believe that they are not a burden. Let us show them what a delight they are to the Father.
