abused or neglected children spend time in foster care in Arkansas every year

Each child needs a temporary foster home and some will need an adoptive home. Abuse or neglect brings children into care. They need stable, supportive families to help them heal and grow. But in our county, as in many others, there aren't enough available families to provide a safe place for kids in care to call home.

The CALL works to bridge that gap by recruiting, training and supporting families from local churches to open their homes to foster care or adoption.

This is done in close cooperation with the Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services at both state and local levels.
