Journey Home Awareness Event 2020

We have postponed this event until late August. We will update everyone when we know for sure.

With over 600 children and youth in foster care in Sebastian and Crawford Counties we are in crisis. We are consistently the area with the highest number of kids in care, more than any other County in Arkansas. Join us April 30th for a comprehensive look at this issue. We will follow in the footsteps of a child in care as they make their ‘Journey Home’. This is an enlightening and life-changing awareness event that we are proud to bring you along with other local community organizations.

You will begin your journey with a light breakfast followed by a trip around Ft Smith to the same places a child in foster care would end up. See our city through the eyes of a child in care and experience the fear and uncertainty they often experience.

We will end the journey with a few guests speakers, including a local foster parent and lunch will be provided.

There are only 15 seats available for this event. Please contact us for more information.
