We are growing! We are so excited to share all that God is doing in our community, including the expansion of our Leadership Team. Here’s a little bit about each member of our growing team.
County Coordinator – Emily Treadaway
Emily is a native of the River Valley area, graduating from Alma High School and then UAFS. She values serving others with her commitment to the Jr League of Ft Smith and has been a leader of her small church group for the past 6 years. Emily started with The CALL as a volunteer PRIDE Trainer, she was also a foster parent and has been employed by The CALL for just over a year. She is a member of Grace Community in Ft Smith along with her husband and two kids. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting alone, reading a book, in peace and quite, which she fondly remembers doing pre-kiddos. She and her husband love watching movies together and she especially enjoys science-fiction, action and musicals.

Family Support Coordinator – Tiffaney Wear
Tiffaney was born in California and moved to Arkansas when she was two. She has an Associates of the Arts Degree from UAFS and loves spending time with her family who are all active members at Central Christian Church. She is married to Chris Wear and they have three children, Courtney, Caleb, and Nathan. She learned about The CALL about 5 years ago from Megan Scott, who was the Crawford and Sebastian County Coordinator at the time, and began volunteering as the Prayer Coordinator and she and Chris served as members of the Council, in which he is still serving. She started part-time as the Administrative Assistant and has been working as the Family Support Coordinator since October of 2018. Two years ago, her family began fostering. They fostered for two years, growing as a family, as they loved and cared for children in foster care. She says, “It was a difficult journey but also was full of blessings along the way. I am thankful to be a part of The CALL who aids in opening and supporting homes for children who are in foster care.”

Hello! Gayle has been working with The CALL since 2016 and has served in several capacities over the last 3 years. She is currently the Church Partnership Coordinator. Her job is to coordinate between The CALL and our local churches. Whether that be for our monthly Informational Meetings or Awareness Days or working to collect donation items for our CALL Mall. She enjoys meeting with our local Church Advocates and Pastors to encourage the local church to support our foster families, as they provide a future and a hope for children in Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning new crafts, watching her children play sports, travelling, and board games.

Volunteer Coordinator – Kelly Fortier
Kelly is an Oklahoma State Cowboy (GO POKES!) and many addresses ago went from the hospitality world with Marriott, to the stay at home mom world with her family, and finally landed working as a Realtor at Sagely & Edwards Realtors. She’s a military wife who moved 6 times from 2009-2015 so with all housing experience, being a Realtor was a perfect fit! She loves helping people buy and sell homes! She has a daughter/clone in Lower Elementary at Montessori who is the light of her life, and reason for her nightly glass of wine. She listens to Postmodern Jukebox, Hobo Johnson, Saul Williams and other random bands and artists that no one knows. She attends Grace Church in Alma, has an egregious amount of chickens for fun, and can never really figure out how to curl her hair with a flat iron. She has offered to be our Volunteer Coordinator because she genuinely loves making phone calls and typing up emails. She’s very task oriented, driven and organized individual.

Fundraising Coordinator – Chelsea Sheffield
Chelsea says, “the most important thing to me is growing to know the Lord more through a faith that has been brought by Grace.” She graduated from UAFS and serves on staff at FBC as a Preschool Ministry Director. She always has a smile on her face and makes others smile as well. Chelsea has been wonderful at helping us with our fundraising efforts, especially with her gifting of talking with others and encouraging them to give and donate their talents and resources. She likes puppies, anything with a cherry on top, shopping and most importantly Anything in which she can direct all the attention back to her personal Lord and Savior. She dislikes cartoon characters that cuss, “I mean really come on, cartoons are for Kids,” silly confrontation, drama, Velvet stuff (no Elvis here) and vanity.
