May is Foster Care Awareness Month. May in normally full of fun events to shower our families we appreciation and raise awareness throughout the county. With the current pandemic, we have had cancel our plans and find new ways to share the mission.
On May 7, 2020, El Dorado Campfire Group #20 hosted a social distancing parade to share the love! With over 137 vehicles showing up to provide our support center with diapers, wipes, art supplies, cleaning supplies, and snacks for our foster families. We were completely overwhelmed by the show of support.
