The CALL in White County

White County Coordinator, Leigh Ann Johnston, with her husband, Brian.

As of January 2017 there are 118 children in foster care in White County. With only 30 foster homes in county, half of our children are being placed in other counties.

Our goal is to encourage Christian families to rise up and answer God’s call to foster care so that there are more than enough families for our foster children. The only way for this to happen is if our churches — the body of Christ — step in and help with this mission.

There are around 200 churches in White County. If each church just had one foster family, we’d have more than enough.
