Breakfast for Pastors and Church Leaders in Independence County

It may surprise you…

7,000 abused or neglected kids spend time in foster care in Arkansas every year.

These kids are not across the ocean, they are in our neighborhoods.

In Independence County, 56% of children in foster care are sent out of the county because of the lack of foster homes in our county.

Let’s mobilize and do something large!

Come together with other pastors and learn how The CALL can partner with your church and help these children find families in our community.

We look forward to treating you to a Mexican-style breakfast!

The CALL in Independence County

Currently in Independence County, 56% of children are sent out of county due to lack of foster families. When no homes are available children are sent to group homes or residential facilities, often moved from place to place with nowhere to call their own. We would like to change that. Our goal in Independence County is to have a waiting family for every child who needs one. If you would like to get involved with The CALL, there are many ways to do so, from being a Foster or Adoptive Family to volunteering. Give us a call or stop by our next info meeting for more details.
