Foster parents and caseworkers are invited to come and select FREE consignment-quality clothing and shoes for foster children. Clothing is organized on racks by size — ranging from infant through elementary school age. Baby items such as blankets, bedding, cribs, swings, pack-n-plays, etc, are often available as well. Items needed include: more infant and toddler clothing, baby items, diapers, uniforms. The CALL Mall does not accept adult clothing. Donations can be brought on Fridays or by appointment. Directions to Cornerstone Bible Fellowship: Warden Road is a one-way street. If you are coming on 67/167, you will need to take the Brookwood exit. Turn left and then turn right (in front of Kohl’s Dept. Store) and drive on down to the church. There will be a CALL sign out front to direct you to the room.

This meeting is usually attended by Milton Graham, the DCFS Area Director. This is a great opportunity to give feedback to him regarding your experience. You do not have to pre-register for this meeting; just show up!

If you are interested in finding out more about how to help children in foster care through fostering, adopting, respite care, mentoring or volunteering in some other way, please come to one of these meetings. In the Information Meeting, you will get your questions answered, hear more about The CALL, the needs of children in the foster system, and many ways that you can get involved in serving them.
